Have some hilarious, mean-spirited fun... trick someone you know into thinking they've just inherited a large sum of money from a recently deceased distant relative.
We'll send them a very convincing inheritance letter (from what appears to be a legitimate law firm) informing them that they're the sole beneficiary to a valuable estate worth millions of dollars.
The letter will be personalized with their full name and address.
Odds are, they're gonna fall for it. The letter looks and sounds that real.
But the fun doesn't stop there. To keep the gag rolling (and to add further legitimacy), the letter will include a phone number for them to call in order to make the necessary arrangements.
The funny thing is... whenever they call, no one will ever answer.
The number will be a REAL WORKING PHONE NUMBER that we own and have setup with a convincing voice mail message.
No matter how many times they try calling, they'll always end up getting the voice mail for the "law firm" every single time.
And as you would expect with any law firm, they'll be asked to leave a detailed mesage.
How many times do you think they'll call and leave messages before they finally realize they've been had?
Who knows? But it would be really fun to find out.
